Work Experience:

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Automobile Engineering.

Experience: 10–12 years in automotive component manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role handling products like window regulators, latches, and power windows.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of stamping, plastic injection moulding, assembly line operations, automation, and lean manufacturing.

What you’ll do at Aditya:

The Deputy Manager - Production is responsible for supporting the efficient management and performance of the manufacturing operations for automotive components, including window regulators, latches, and power windows. The role focuses on achieving production targets, optimizing manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and collaborative work environment. Additionally, the Deputy Manager is expected to drive operational improvements and support initiatives for continuous enhancement of plant performance.

•    Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; Problem-solving and analytical mindset
•    Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or similar); Ability to interface with OEM clients and handle audits
 

Here’s what we are looking for:

•    Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining quality and cost parameters.
•    Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effective operations.
•    Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
•    Lead and motivate the production team to foster a high-performance culture centered around teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
•    Ensure adherence to quality standards (ISO/TS/IATF 16949) and customer requirements.
•    Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
•    Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other support functions to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production flow.

You bring to Aditya:

•    Analyse production data and reports to identify areas for improvement and initiate corrective or preventive actions.
•    Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all employees.
•    Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to production issues and customer complaints.
•    Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other operational excellence initiatives.
•    Train and develop team members to enhance skill levels, flexibility, and performance within the production area.
•    Manage resource planning, including manpower, machines, and materials, for efficient operations.
•    Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (labour, environmental, safety).
