Role Purpose
Responsible for complete electrical engineering activities for SPMs, automated assembly lines and machine-building projects, from electrical design and component selection through panel wiring, machine wiring, commissioning and troubleshooting.
What you’ll do at Aditya:
- Take ownership of complete electrical engineering activities for SPMs, automated assembly lines, and machine-building projects, from design through commissioning and final handover.
- Develop electrical circuits, perform power/load calculations, and select suitable electrical components.
- Design electrical panels, including panel layouts, wiring, termination, and testing.
- Carry out machine electrical wiring, cable selection, routing, termination, and testing.
- Select, configure, and wire Servo Motors, Servo Drives, Induction Motors, and VFDs.
- Prepare electrical schematics, BOMs, cable schedules, and panel drawings using EPLAN.
- Support robot wiring, I/O interfacing, robot teaching, and troubleshooting.
- Interface electrical systems with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial networks.
- Perform installation, commissioning, machine trials, and troubleshooting at plant and customer sites.
- Manage electrical material selection, BOM preparation, and SAP-based material ordering and follow-up.
- Coordinate with suppliers, Purchase, Stores, Mechanical, Controls, Production, Quality, and inter-plant teams.
- Participate in customer discussions, machine trials, buy-off, and final project handover.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and quality requirements while meeting project timelines.
Here’s what we are looking for:
- Strong experience in SPM machine building and industrial automation.
- Hands-on expertise in electrical design, panel design and wiring, and machine wiring.
- Proficiency in EPLAN for electrical schematics and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of Servo/VFD systems, motor selection, cable selection, and power calculations.
- Experience with robot wiring, robot teaching, PLC I/O interfacing, sensors, and machine safety circuits.
- Strong electrical commissioning and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Working experience with SAP for material ordering and follow-up.
- Ability to independently execute electrical activities across the complete SPM project lifecycle.
- Experience in automated assembly lines, automotive automation, industrial robots, and PLC/HMI systems is preferred.
